Brenna is starting KINDERGARTEN!

We are gearing up for an exciting year of kindergarten at home with mom. That would be me. FUN Fun fun......

Lets Pretend

Brenna loves to pretend. All day long I hear...pretend I'm a kitty, pretend Arial is stuck in a trap..... After asking Brenna all morning to clean her ABC magent mess in the kitchen she finally replied "Mom, pretend I picked up the magnets, okay.?" Needless to say, I made her pick them up anyway...but, I gave her props for a great imagination. Now, if I could only pretend to win the lottery or lose 20 pounds!

Superbowl Weekend with Autie Liz

Liz and Emily came out to visit me this weekend, because I was alone. Brad, Cheryle, and Mike all went away for the weekend. Liz and I decided on a girls weekend. All five of us. It rained all weekend, so we pretty much stayed home. The kids were boucing off the walls ofcourse. It was nice having the company and Alyssa and Brenna adore baby Emily.

Here is Robin (5) and Liz (2 months). And the next picture is Alyssa (5) and Emily (3 months). How cool is that! Yes, they seem far apart in age now, but I'm sure they will grow up to be the best of friends. Alyssa may even dress Emily up in her preteen clothes when she should be sporting carebear t-shirts. Liz is probably the only one that gets that joke.

Alyssa tried to read Emily a book Titled What The No-Good Baby Is Good For. Emily wisely protested. Alyssa chose a second book, No Tooth, No Quarter! As you can see...this book was a keeper. Emily listened intently while Alyssa read the book. I think she was trying to figure out what a tooth was. Alyssa enjoyed reading to Emily, because she never corrected her.

Park Hopping with grandma and grandpa

How do you tire kids out after days of being cooped up in the house from rain? You go park hopping with grandma and grandpa...then you finish it off with more playing at grandma and grandpa's house. Now we are home and mommy is exhausted. I should have added that into my little equation. Now comes the race. Can I get the kids to bed before the bed finds me??? Here are some pictures from today. Day two...I'm on a roll

We went to Arizona for a Katie's wedding. The girls were very excited to stay in a fancy hotel and get all dolled up for the big event. They were ready to party and dance the night away. Well...Brenna rocked out with the smooth rocks she swiped from the center pieces. She loves her rocks. They had a blast with their cousins and friends. Katie was beautiful and had an absolutely wonderful wedding.  

These kids are trying to get the party started. It worked!

Learning to Blog...

Hi. I am trying to achieve my new years resolution. I am trying to be more tech-knowlegable. Here is an attempt at Blogging. All the cute creative stuff will come later when I am a pro. Here are some random pictures and stuff. Enjoy.

Alyssa getting a participation award. She started gymnastic this year (five years old). She loves it. She is working on her cartwheels and pullovers. She is great at the vault. Her coach is Mrs. Lisa. Go KIPS!

Brenna started the mommy and me tot gymnastics class, but moved up quickly. She is 3 and pottytrained. She is a little Kipper. She likes to swing on the bars like a monkey and crawl on the balance beam like a kitty. Meow! Her coach is Miss Sienna. She is great with little ones. Yea BRENNA!
